Llorca, one of this generation's most groundbreaking and innovative composers, wrote this opera about a lonely woman, addicted to the Internet, who lives in her own fantasy world. “Las Horas Vacias" features an internationally renown cast; French conductor Emmanuel Plasson, Spanish soprano Laura Alonso, Brazilian actress Angelica de la Riva, the New York Opera Society Orchestra, the Manhattan Choral Ensemble, and virtual stage designs by German director Joachim Schamberger. Performance time 75 minutes without intermission.
