"North Star Rising," presented with Opera Nordfjord as part of "Crossings 200," toured four venues across 2025 marking the 200th anniversary of Norwegian immigration to the United States: Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill (Aug 11–13), the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC (Aug 23), Norway House & The Edvard Grieg Society in Minneapolis (Oct 6), and Scandinavia House in NYC (Oct 8). The Scandinavia House program described the evening as pairing Norwegian art songs with excerpts of an acclaimed new musical by NYOS's Norwegian composer-librettist duo, Gisle Kverndokk and Øystein Wiik, with Wiik himself narrating.
