NYOS presented the staged world premiere of Ricardo Llorca's opera.

Music and libretto by Ricardo Llorca. Conducted by Alexis Soriano, directed by José Luis Arellano García, with pianist Eduardo Fernández. First premiered in concert version in 2007 at the Setmana de Música Sacra de Benidorm, then traveled to Berlin, Saint Petersburg, New York, São Paulo, and Lithuania before this fully staged Madrid production — the culmination of a 14-year journey for the piece.
