Performed by the Real Filharmonía de Galicia under conductor Alexis Soriano. Commissioned in 2020, the hour-long work honors pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago, drawing on the 12th-century Codex Calixtinus, homilies of Pope Francis, and the pilgrimage diaries of the composer's relative, Concha Llorca Zaragoza.
Featured soprano Susana Cordón, tenor José Luis Sola, narrator Eva Guillamón, organist Fernando Buide, and the Coro Ángel Barja. Well attended, including high-ranking clergy and cultural figures.
