The 2024 installment of NYOS's annual Opera & Oysters fundraiser for Truro Center for the Arts, featuring three singers with major regional and national credits.

Held August 13, 2024, at the Truro home of Terry Kahn and Lesley Silvester, "Creativity Personified" was the 2024 edition of NYOS's recurring Opera & Oysters fundraiser for Truro Center for the Arts.

Soprano Colleen Daly — praised by the Washington Post for her warm, mezzo-tinted lower register — had, that same season, premiered excerpts of NYOS's own "Babette's Feast" (music by Kverndokk, libretto by Wiik) with the Denyce Graves Foundation at the National Gallery of Art and at the French Embassy in Washington, alongside other engagements including Micaëla in Bizet's Carmen with Maryland Opera.

She was joined by baritone Rob McGinness, whose venue debuts include Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium and the Kennedy Center Concert Hall, and who has been praised by the Washington Post for his "warm baritone" in a performance of the Brahms Requiem, and by tenor Allan Palacios Chan, a recurring NYOS collaborator also featured in "Catharsis" and "North Star Rising."
