Held August 8, 2023, at a private home in Truro, "Mutual Muses: Art & Music" was that year's Opera & Oysters fundraiser for Truro Center for the Arts, featuring soprano Alisa Jordheim (an American-Scandinavian Foundation Fellow and University of Cincinnati-trained specialist in Scandinavian repertoire, later featured in NYOS's "North Star Rising" tour) alongside tenor Vale Rideout, whose concert career includes a Carnegie Hall debut in Bach's Magnificat, Mozart's Requiem, and appearances with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra and BBC Singers, in addition to his opera work with companies including Central City Opera and Kentucky Opera.
